LEWISTON — Bryan D. Fontaine, 25, of Sabattus, died unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 3, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Lewiston, Feb. 15, 1986, the son of Denise (Doucette) Fontaine. Bryan was home schooled where he excelled, receiving his diploma at the age of 15.

He worked for Aubuchon Hardware for several years as a manager until its closing on Lisbon Street. He then went to work for Penmor in Lewiston for two years and later for Tri-Sports in Topsham, as a parts manager for three years.

He was a great guitarist and loved jamming with his brother, Mikey and friend, Randy. He also truly enjoyed riding his motorcycle with Mikey.

He is survived by his mother, Dee Fontaine of Sabattus; his brother, Mikey Fontaine of Sabattus; his maternal grandfather, Lucien “Chuck” Doucette of Lewiston; his uncles, Paul Doucette and wife, Connie, of Lewiston, Charles Doucette and wife, Celia, of Lewiston and David Fontaine; his aunt, Anita Doucette and companion, Bernie Loef, of Lewiston; his many cousins; and a special cousin, Gage Doucette; his best friend, Randy Thompson of Lewiston; and the Higgin’s family of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Rita Doucette; his paternal grandparents, Norm and Flo Fontaine; and his uncle, John Doucette.

Bryan was always a giving person, and out of this tragedy he gave the gift of life to six different recipients.
