LEWISTON — Bernard F. Parker, 89, “Barney” of Auburn, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, of an aortic aneurysm.

Bernard was part of the Tenth Armored Division in World War II and served in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Dorothy Dean in 1947, and joined Dean’s Heating, where he worked his entire career.

He was active in his church and enjoyed making crafts for the church fair. He could sell anything to anyone and he and the buyer both had a laugh doing it.

He is survived by his three sons and their wives, Mark and Deb, Eric and Lynda and David and Lisa; and four grandchildren Shary, Kimberly, Lucas and Currier.

He was predeceased by Dorothy, his wife of 61 years.

He was loved by many and his presence will be missed.
