Nearly 100 1951 class members and guests met and renewed friendships at the 60th Edward Little High School reunion held at Lost Valley Lodge in Auburn. Principal James Miller, guest speaker, gave an overview of the challenging changes in education at the high school level including the need to provide an updated physical facility. Class president Richard Gammon chaired the business meeting which was highlighted by classmate Ralph Hodgkins’ report on the Don Gay Scholarship Fund. The fund, honoring long-time Edward Little musical director Donald Gay, continues to award an annual $5,000 scholarship to an outstanding member of the senior class who, over a four year career, makes an outstanding contribution to the music and/or drama departments.
