LEWISTON — The December Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours will be held Dec. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lost Valley Ski and Banquet Resort in Auburn.
Hosted by Lost Valley’s owners Connie King and Linc Hayes, the much-anticipated annual holiday Business After Hours at Lost Valley offers information on “Ski Free Fridays,” lessons, rentals and upcoming events, all punctuated by the ever-popular 24-feet of culinary delights on their holiday buffet. This year, Lost Valley is celebrating the holidays and its 51st ski season and invites everyone to celebrate with them at Business After Hours.
This is also an opportunity for attendees to bring a new unwrapped toy or clothing to donate to the Chamber Kids for the Holidays to benefit the families of Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care, Advocates for Children and Tri-County Mental Health Services. The Chamber is joined by the Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area in collecting the toys and gifts. Last year almost 1,500 gifts were donated by Chamber members.
The Chamber’s Business After Hours is held once a month at a Chamber member’s place of business. Food and prizes are available throughout the event, as well as sharing fellowship with friends and colleagues, old and new.
Business After Hours is considered one of the most valuable networking opportunities offered by The Chamber for members and non-members alike.
