HEBRON — Hebron Academy seniors and post-graduate students recently spent three days at the Kieve Leadership School, renewing class unity and challenging themselves through the experiential learning program on the Wavus campus on Damariscotta Lake.

Instructors led the class of 69 students in activities and small group discussions on such topics such as communication, leadership, relationships and problem solving.

The Leadership School is designed to encourage students to take positive risks, form and maintain healthy relationships, and set meaningful goals, all while being supportive team members and strong leaders. Using the experiential education model in which students are active participants, the program seeks to provide students with the information and confidence to make responsible decisions and to develop the life skills that they will take into their futures.

The Leadership School is part of Kieve Affective Education, Inc. a nonprofit organization located on Damariscotta Lake in Nobleboro.
