RUMFORD — Patrol officers responded to 88 complaints from noon Dec. 11 to midnight Dec. 18.

Arrests/summonses:

Dec. 14 at 2:51 p.m. — Carl Touchette, 34, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on a charge of domestic assault on Oxford Avenue. Touchette posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 7.

Dec. 15 at 12:01 a.m. — Phillip Ellis, 51, of Canton was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Route 2 on a charge of operating under the influence. Ellis posted $1,500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.

Dec. 15 at 3:15 a.m. — Tyler Lawson, 22, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Spruce Street with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lawson is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.

Dec. 15 at 3:15 a.m. — Morgan Lawson, 22, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Spruce Street with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lawson is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.

Dec. 17 at 1:13 a.m. — Christopher Huard, 34, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Forest Avenue on a charge of violation conditions of release. Huard, who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 7.

Dec. 17 at 8:05 a.m. — Kurt Thurston, 33, of Andover was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Route 2 on a charge of operating after suspension. Thurston posted $2,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.

Dec. 17 at 3:05 a.m. — Lance Huff, 35, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Hancock Street on a probation violation. Huff was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Dec. 18 at 1:45 p.m. — Kenneth Tracy, 30, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Forest Avenue on a charge of violation of a protection order and violation conditions of release. Tracy, who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 7.

Burglaries/thefts

Dec. 12 at 7:47 a.m. — Patrolman Michael Belanger is investigating theft of $22 in change from an unlocked motor vehicle on High Street.

Dec. 12 at 8:14 a.m. — Patrolman Michael Belanger is investigating  burglary of an unlocked motor vehicle on High Street. It was rummaged through, but nothing taken.

Dec. 12 at 8:30 a.m. — Patrolman Michael Belanger is investigating theft of $20 in change from an unlocked motor vehicle on High Street.

Dec. 12 at 11:18 a.m. — Patrolman Michael Belanger is investigating theft of $5 in change from an unlocked motor vehicle on High Street.

Dec. 12 at 9:17 p.m. — Cpl. Donald Miller is investigating theft of money from a residence on Lincoln Avenue.

Dec. 16 at 1:32 p.m. — Patrolman Michael Belanger investigated the theft of an ATV valued at $2,000 from Knox Street.

Sex Offender Registry:

Wanted

Seth Matthews, 23, Rumford, is wanted on two Rumford District Court warrants for failure to appear for disorderly conduct and violation conditions of release. The warrants are dated Dec. 15, 2011.
