AUBURN — It was recently announced by Human Resource Manager Janine Valliere that Kristy Smith has been hired by Central Maine Orthopaedics as a health information technician.

Smith will be responsible for reviewing patients’ medical records for accuracy and completeness. Prior to joining CMO, Kristy spent the last five years with St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston as their education assistant. Her duties included overseeing the hospital’s internship and job shadowing programs.

A mother of one, Kristy is a Jay native, and currently lives in Lisbon.
