AUBURN — Melanie J. Lemieux, 34, of 9 Whispering Pines, Wayne, died Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home care and Hospice with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, March 21, 1977, the daughter of Guy Lemieux and Debra Pelchat Lemieux. She graduated from Leavitt High School, Class of 1995.

Melanie worked as an administrative assistant of special education at Maranacook area schools.

She loved her beautiful little home and building a nourishing environment for her family, whether she spent her time gardening, decorating, or making crafts with her children. Melanie had a respect for the tiniest gifts in life and cherished being surrounded by nature. She was a radiant soul and will remain strong in our hearts forever.

Melanie is survived by the love of her life, Jason J. Voye, her son, Ethan and daughter, Lilly, all of Wayne; her mom and dad, Guy and Debra Lemieux of Turner; her sister, Sara Lemieux;

her maternal grandparents, Bertrand and Joan Pelchat of Lisbon; her paternal grandfather, Lionel Lemieux of Chicopee, Mass.; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many, many friends.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Therese Lemieux.
