PORTLAND — The Jerks of Grass will bring its brand of bluegrass to St. Lawrence Arts Center on Friday, Jan. 6.

Members of the high-energy band gather around one microphone. Performing together for more than 10 years are Melissa Bragdon on fiddles and vocals; Kris Day, upright bass/guitar and vocals; Carter Logan, five-string banjo/guitar and vocals; and Jason Phelps, guitar/mandolin and vocals.
