Biron
POLAND SPRING — Chantel Lucille Lavoie and Shawn Michael Biron of Lewiston were united in marriage on Oct. 15, at All Souls Chapel in Poland Spring, with the Rev. Frank Murray officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Nancy Lavoie of Wales and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Morissette and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Lavoie of Lewiston.
The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Michelle Biron of Greene and the grandson of Claudette Hawkins of Lewiston, the late Paul Hawkins and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Biron.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Nuptial music was provided by organist, Diane Biron, aunt of the bridegroom. Scripture readings were read by Jean Morissette, uncle of the bride.
The maid of honor was Heather Biron of Lewiston, sister of the bridegroom. Bridesmaids were Renee Poulin of Turner, Melissa Cote, Brittany Reed of Lewiston and Crystal Cyr of Greene.
The best man was Nick Melanson of Lewiston, fiance of the sister of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Nate Lavoie of Wales, brother of the bride, Jared Erskine of Bar Harbor, Matt Reed of Lewiston and Jimmy Cyr of Greene.
The flower girl and ring bearer were Gabrielle and Camden Roy of Lewiston.
Assisting with the wedding was Rachel Truman of Hallowell, godmother of the bride, pre-wedding projects, Kevin Partridge, Nick Hamel and Andrew Lunn of Central Maine Pyrotechnics, firework display.
A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents was held at the Martindale Country Club. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the bridegroom was held at Marco’s Ristorante.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Cape Coral, Fla.
The bride graduated from Oak Hill High School in 2004 and attained her associate degree as a medical assistant in 2009. She is currently employed by Central Maine Pediatrics and also is a food server at Gippers Sports Grill part-time.
The bridegroom graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 2002. He is currently employed by Johns Manville and is currently taking classes as CMCC.
The couple resides in Lewiston.
