AUBURN — Funeral services commemorating the life of Audrey I. Grant were held Wednesday at the United Methodist Church of Auburn with Pastor Richard Cullen officiating. During the service Audrey’s grandnephew, Tucker Adams, recited Romans 8:31-39, soloist, Caroline Coffin, sang “Make Me a Channel of Your Peace.” The organist and pianist was Norma Rice Gould. Words of remembrance were shared by Audrey’s grandnieces, Elizabeth Gilley and Alicia Gurdis and also by her nephew, Mark Adams. A delegation of teachers from McMahon Elementary School in Lewiston were also in attendance. At the conclusion of services, all were invited to a reception of fellowship in the church hall where a reception line was formed so that all could greet Audrey’s family with their own personal condolence. Pallbearers were David and Matthew Gilley, and Mark, Michael, Tucker and Tanner Adams. Burial with graveside committal prayers will be held later in the spring at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sabattus. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
