WAYNE — Committal services were held at St. Peter’s Cemetery Tuesday for Melanie J. Lemieux followed by a celebration of life service at the Wayne Community United Methodist Church. Pastor Kristin L. White officiated and the responsive reading “Hymn of Promise” by Natalie Sleeth was recited. After a scripture reading, Deanna Kilbreth proformed a song from Cat Stevens “If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out.” A eulogy was given by Robyn Osborn followed by the song “La Vie En Rose” proformed by Dr. Michael Lemieux. Following the benediction, the service was concluded by the song “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing” led by Deanna Kilbreath and Kerry Gould. Prior to the service music was provided by Tom Marshal. A reception was held in the church hall following the celebration. A service of The Fortin Group Funeral Home of Lewiston-Auburn.
