I volunteer at many arts and concert venues in the Lewiston and Auburn area and seldom have I enjoyed anything more than the Phyzgig event at the Schaeffer Theatre on the Bates College campus.

I volunteered to work at both performances on Dec. 31, and it was a packed house both times. Kudos to L/A Arts and the sponsors for making this possible. The children at the 2 p.m. show were thrilled beyond expectations, as were the adults at the evening performance.

The Lewiston-Auburn area needs more of this type of show, where children and adults can enjoy them together.
