RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy M. Bernard was celebrated Friday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius–St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Phil Tracy as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Music included “Be Not Afraid,” “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria” and “J’irai La Voir Un Jour.” Readings were given by Brad Thibodeau. Presenting the gifts were Oliver Perry and Tia Cote. Bearers were Bill Papsadora, Tom Papsadora, Steve Martin, Jim Martin, Olin Bernard and Bruce Marchisio. Interment will be in the spring at St. John Cemetery. A reception followed at the parish hall of the church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
