FARMINGTON — Marilyn I. Collins, 80, of Farmington, died unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, Jan. 5.

She was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Theodore and Ethel Page Tozier of Skowhegan.

She attended Skowhegan High School and later married Ervin H. Collins on Dec. 24, 1951. She was a stay-at-home mom and enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts, spending time with her grandchildren and other family and friends.

She is survived by her 12 children, Linda Tozier-Hill and her spouse, Brian, of California, Gloria Durrell and her spouse, Glenn, of Farmington, Candace Collins of Skowhegan, Gordon Collins of Solon, Patti Collins and spouse, Roland Tourtelotte, of Wilton, Liza Donald and spouse, Frank, of Wilton, Nancy Tracy and David Gordon of Farmington, Tina White and spouse, James, of Gorham, Theodore Collins and spouse, Julie, of Farmington, Sara-Jane Judkins and spouse, Gary, of Wilton, Craig Collins and spouse, Lorna, of Wilton, and Scott Collins and spouse, Wendy, of Wilton. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Roberta Laurinitis and spouse, Frank, of California, and Ginger Govier of Skowhegan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; her spouse; her brothers, Richard and Ike Tozier; and two grandsons, Nathan and Trevor Collins.
