LEWISTON — The Meadowview Senior Complex recently held their election for new officers, and, on Jan. 1 held their installation at the community building.

The evening started with a light lunch and refreshments, and Bert Dutil installed the new officers.

Dutil, who lives at the complex and is the escort for different trips they make every year, announced their next trips, on Saturday, April 14, and the annual trip to Lac Megantic, Canada, for the Sugar Shack (cabane a sucre).

On Wednesday, June 13, a sightseeing and shopping trip around the coast of Maine will be held, starting from Hampton Beach, N.H., then to Wells, Kennebunkport to view the Bush compound, Old Orchard Beach and Freeport.

The group will go to Boston on Friday, July 6, for a cruise, meal and entertainment to visit the tall ships on the Boston Harbor. A trip from May 14-18 will take participants to “The Live Music Show Capital of America” in Branson, Mo. Trip includes bus, plane, hotel, nine shows, all breakfast and dinners, wine tasting and sightseeing.
