- The next Norway Open Mic Night will be held Friday, Jan. 27, with new host, singer-songwriter Davy Sturtevant. Performing a variety of music styles for more than four decades, Sturtevant has released four CDs and will gladly provide accompaniment on guitar, bass, mandolin, or vocals when called upon. Founded in 2002 by singer-songwriter Heather Pierson, the Norway Open Mic Night is open to everyone, regardless of age or experience. Nonperformers are also invited. The open mic is held the last Friday of every month at the First Universalist Church, 479 Main St. Donation: $3 at the door; refreshments available. For more information, call 743-2828.
