LEWISTON — Donald and Sylvie Jacques of Lewiston and Donald and Christine Cowie of Madawaska joyfully announce the engagement of their children, Dr. Stephanie Marie Jacques, DPT, and Dr. Jonathan David Cowie, DPT, of Lewiston.

Miss Jacques is a 2004 graduate of Lewiston High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2008 and her doctorate in physical therapy in 2010 from Husson University. She is currently employed at Greater Brunswick Physical Therapy. She is the granddaughter of Jean-Marie Boisclair of Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada.

Mr. Cowie is a 2004 graduate of Madawaska High School. In 2008, he earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and his doctorate in physical therapy in 2010 from Husson University. He is currently employed at Proactive Physical Therapy. He is the grandson of Joanne Umphry of Hot Springs, Ark.

The wedding will take place on June 15 at Holy Family Church in Lewiston.
