LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Rec Department has expanded its recreation programs to include a vacation day camp during the week school vacations. It is open to all children in grades kindergarten through five and will be held at the MTM Community Center.
Vacation camp will run during February and April vacations from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Cost will be $25/day and $20/day for additional children from the same family. It will include outdoor play, indoor gym games and arts and crafts as well as a field trip one day. Children must bring a lunch and water bottle, but snack will be provided.
Also during February and April vacations, Safe Haven Farms will have vacation horse camps through the Rec Department for children ages 7 and older. It will include tack, helmet, instructions and horses in the indoor heated ring. Camp will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and cost is $150.
