KEY LARGO, Fla. — Simonne G. Kyllonen, 92, of Hebron, died peacefully on Jan. 26, while wintering in Key Largo, Fla.

She was born May 1, 1919, the daughter of Francois and Eva Guertin of Auburn. She was educated in local schools. She married Wieno Kyllonen in 1947 and proceeded to help him operate a dairy farm, a small trucking company and a tree farm in Hebron. Together they raised three boys.

She was a member of the Minot Grange and the Oxford County Extension. She worked as a waitress in local restaurants and was also an Avon saleslady. In the last few years, she has been well-known as the friendly, smiling cashier for Hebron Pines RV and Golf.

She is survived by her three sons, John and his wife, Rossie, of Buckfield, Gary and his wife, Sheila, of Hebron and Dale and his wife, Cindy, also of Hebron; a beloved sister, Jeannette Madore of Lewiston; a nephew, Normand Madore and his wife, Anne, of Topsham; two nieces, Connie Sheldon and her husband, John, of Kittery and Anita Hakala and her husband, Wayne, of Greenwood; five grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband.

A memorial service will be held later in the spring.
