ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — Bradley Neil Slosberg, 55, of Alamogordo, N.M., died suddenly Monday, Jan. 23, in a New Mexico hospital. His mother and wife at his side.

He was recovering from his seventh brain cancer surgery preformed in El Paso, Texas, days earlier. His recovery was going so well, he was transferred to New Mexico, so his death comes as a great shock.

He was born in Portland, June 5, 1956, to Morton and Mildred (Bunny) Slosberg of Lauderhill, Fla.

He attended schools in Portland. He received his B.A. from Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., his master’s from Louisiana State College, Baton Rouge, La., and degrees from the University of Alberta, Alberta, Canada.

He taught and did research at MIT in Boston, Louisiana State University, and the University of Alberta.

He also taught and did research at many colleges in the U.S. giving him the opportunity to live in many states.

He is survived by his grieving parents, Morton and Mildred; his wife, Deborah; seven heartbroken cats; and many cousins.

His first wife, Anne Marie, died years ago.
