FARMINGTON, N.H. (AP) — Police say a Farmington, N.H., man caught a burglar coming out of a neighbor’s window and used a gun to hold him until authorities arrived.

Foster’s Daily Democrat reports (http://bit.ly/ADkE6E ) that the man came home Saturday afternoon to find that his house had been burglarized. When he went to ask his neighbors if they had seen anything, he spotted someone climbing out the window of another home.

Police say the man pulled out a gun to force the suspected burglar to stay until police arrived.

Twenty-seven-year-old Joseph Hebert was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of drug possession.
