LEWISTON — Marie A. Rossignol, 90, of 20 Roger St., Lewiston, died Sunday, Feb. 19, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in St. Honore, P.Q., Canada, March 16, 1921, the daughter of Arthur and Celina (Dube) Bourgoin and had been a resident of this community since 1927.

She was employed for 43 years at Cushman and Lown Shoe of Auburn, until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Parish. Marie enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and camping at the ocean, especially at Hermit Island in Harpswell.

She is survived by her husband, Emile G. Rossignol, whom she married on April 27, 1946 of Lewiston; a sister, Rita Rancourt and her husband, Roger, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by six sisters; and seven brothers.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff in ICU at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center for the care they have given to Marie.
