RUMFORD — “The Really Desperate Housewives of Oxford County.” “Crapfinders.” “Whoopie Pie Addicts.” And a cooking show parody called “Baked.”

These and other sketches, including the game show “Name That Smell,” will take center stage first two Fridays in March in a 90-minute “Friday Night Live!” comedy show at The Mystic Theater at 49 Franklin.

Local performers and writers have assembled the 90-minute production filled with local references, parodies, commercials, news, commentary and skits.

Guest host is Rumford Town Manager Carlo Puiia, who will deliver a monologue and star in several sketches.

Local musical Noel Palmer will give several performances throughout the night.

Cast members are Lisa Picard, Susan Puiia DeRoehn, Ruby Gunther, Jeff Bailey, Dan Rider, Greg Viger, Mary Hickey, Jennifer Foster, Tammy Schmersal, Pete Orino, Duane Glover and Laurie Hunt.

The show, directed by Nancy O. Demings and produced by Scot Grassette, will begin at 8 p.m. on March 2 and 9.  Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets, $12 advance/$15 at the door, are available at All That Jazz and Bartash’s on Congress Street and at www.49franklin.com. Light snacks and a bar will be available.
