AUBURN — St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics welcomes David Wexler, MD, FRCS (Tr&Orth).

Wexler’s expertise in the lower extremities compliment the center’s total joint replacement specialist, Wayne Moody, MD.

Wexler earned his medical degree at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School, University of London in London. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz. For the past 10 years, he worked at Northern Penobscot Orthopaedics, Millinocket Regional Hospital in Millinocket.

During his 23 years as a surgeon, Wexler’s training included various subspecialties providing a broad experience. His main focus now is lower limb joint reconstruction, including hip, knee, and ankle replacements, but he can meet the needs of patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions.
