LEWISTON — Theodore M. Pepin, 76, of Lewiston, died Monday, April 9, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston, May 30, 1935, a son of Edmond and Gertrude Walker Pepin and was educated in Lewiston schools.

Theodore was discharge from the U.S. Army in October 1952, and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he was discharge in October 1956. He worked as head mechanic for Raytheon for more than 30 years in Andover, Mass., and retired in 1995.

He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Family Church and the American Legion. He loved fishing, playing cards, dancing and going to the horse races and watching boxing.

Theodore will be remembered for serving his country, coaching Little League baseball, being a great mechanic and avid Yankees fan.

He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa G. Heutz of Lewiston, whom he married July 5, 1979; his children, Susan Bass and husband, James, of Merrimac, N.H., Edmond Pepin of Hudson, N.H., and Debra H. Cummings of Lewiston; his grandchildren, Jessica Bass Lafave and husband, Colin, Zachary Bass, Dereck, Austin and Garrett Pepin, Alexis Reyes and Chelsea Cummings.

He was predeceased by his sister, Bernice Morin; and a brother, Leo Pepin.
