The Androscoggin County United Bikers of Maine recently held a chowder and chili competition at L-A Harley-Davidson, Main Street, Lewiston. A portion of the proceeds from the event were donated to Advocates for Children to promote child abuse awareness in Androscoggin County. Receiving the donation for Advocates for Children was Pam Allen, interim executive director. Presenting the check, from left, were Chris Raymond, Larry Buteau and Gerry Labrie.
