AUBURN — David R. Sherman, 67, of 70 Blake St., Lewiston, died on Thursday, April 19, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin.
He was born in Warsaw, N.Y., Aug. 15, 1944, the son of Donald and Katherine (Coyne) Sherman. He was a veteran of the U.S Navy from October 1964 to October 1968.
He was employed as an X-ray technician for Buffalo X-Ray in New York. David was an avid golfer.
He is survived by two sons, Mark Sherman and his wife, Michele, of New Gloucester and Eric Sherman and his fiancee, June Roberts, of Auburn; two grandchildren, Corey Sherman of New Gloucester and Logan Sherman of Turner; one sister, Sharon Zeches of Cortland, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews.
