(Photo caption) NEW FORD DELIVERY CAR OF GREAT DEPT. STORE. When the Great Department Store of Lewiston wanted an auto delivery car, they selected a ford chassis and instructed Wade and Dunton to build a delivery body. The regular ford delivery car was not large enough for their requirements. The specially constructed body is larger in every way than the regular size and has a capacity of one-half ton where the regular model carries only 750 lbs. It is fitted with electric side lights.

(Photo caption) LAKE AUBURN “BEAUTY” … This beautiful brown trout, held by Marcel Bilodeau of 17 Walnut St., Lewiston, was caught about 5:30 a.m. this morning at Lake Auburn. Angler Bilodeau reported he was fly-casting in the Pine Point area when the big fish took the Malibu fly about 35 feet offshore. Bilodeau, who is to join the ranks of the Lewiston Police Department next month, caught two other good-sized trout at Lake Auburn in 1960 and 1959.

A city park by Lake Auburn? A swimming pool and a sign at Edward Little High School? Those are three of the proposals by Walton Junior High and Edward Little students to the city council Monday night to cap Student Government Day, which included talks on the workings of municipal government by both Mayor John J. Cleveland and Acting City Manager Paula R. Valente. Councilors briefly discussed the resolves and then referred them to the appropriate departments for background gathering before consideration during next year’ s budget consideration.
