LEWISTON — Wayne and Joy Jasper of Winthrop are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann Crichton of Augusta, to Ryan Jacob Morin of Augusta, son of Doris Jillette of Lewiston.
The future bride attended Coupeville High School in Coupeville, Wash., moving to Maine shortly after. She is employed at the Maine Revenue Services, Tax Compliance Unit.
The future bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School and is currently manager at ColorTyme in Augusta.
The wedding will be held Sept. 2 in Gardiner.
