LEWISTON — Ronald L. Bissonnette, a shareholder in the law firm of Isaacson & Raymond, P.A., 75 Park St., has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

Admission is by invitation only to those lawyers who have established expertise in real estate law, who observe high standards of professional and ethical conduct, and who have contributed substantially to improvement of real estate law.

The college has a membership of approximately 950. Bissonnette becomes only the seventh member currently from Maine and the only member from Androscoggin County.

The primary objectives of the college are to promote high standards of professional and ethical responsibility in the practice of real estate law; improve the quality of real estate law and practice; make available to the Bar and to the public authoritative educational materials in the field of real estate law; and inform the membership of the most current developments in real estate law and practice. Also, address issues of importance to real estate law and practice by participating in law reform when appropriate; and cooperate and consult with national, state and local bar organizations, government agencies and other groups which have an interest in real estate law and practice.

Bissonnette resides in Lewiston with his wife. They have two adult children.
