BANGOR —   Shawn Ricker had four hits and drove in two runs while Alex Small had a pair of hits and two RBI to lead Lewiston to a 10-0 win over Bangor in the KVAC baseball championship Monday.
Matt Bowen and Eddie Emerson teamed up to no-hit the Rams. Bowen struck out two while Emerson earned the win and struck out four in the six-inning game, shortened by the 10-run rule.
Girls’ lacrosse
Brunswick 14, Lewiston 6
BRUNSWICK — Annie Kelly netted four goals and Corinne O’Connor and Suzannah Smith added three each as the Dragons built a 10-2 lead at halftime and cruised to a 14-6 win over Lewiston in the KVAC girls’ lacrosse championship at Bowdoin College.
Dakota Foster added a pair for the Dragons (12-1), and Caroline Wild added four assists. Molly Herman stopped six shots in net.
Kelsey Dumond led the way for the Blue Devils (11-2) with a pair of goals and an assist. Mikaela St. Laurent, Lauren Lessard, Kayla Hamel and Mariah Carrier also scored for Lewiston, while Sam Cote stopped eight shots.
