RUMFORD — The River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition has been awarded funding from the Agnes M. Lindsay Trust and local businesses to offer camperships for local children ages 5 to 13.
Available are the day camp at Black Mountain, sponsored by the Greater Rumford Community Center, and the Summer Fun Camp at Rumford Elementary School, sponsored by the Western Foothills Kids Association/21st Century Grant and RSU 10.
These camperships are available to families in the River Valley area who are financially unable to send their child to day camp.
Day camp at Black Mountain will run the weeks of June 18 and 25 and Summer Fun Camp at RES will run the weeks of July 9, 16, 23 and 30.
