The Stanton Bird Club of Lewiston/Auburn will visit the New Gloucester Marsh and Pineland Farms to see Virginia rails and other marsh birds, followed by birds of woodland edges and open farm fields, from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 9. Dan Marquis (784-8397) will lead. Those going should meet at Staples, Promenade Mall, Lisbon Street, Lewiston, at 7 a.m. Pictured is a bobolink.
