WATERVILLE, Maine — A local woman was arrested Thursday evening after she drunkenly rammed into another vehicle while trying to leave her apartment complex, according to police.

A resident noticed Jennifer Barry, 36, back into another vehicle as she attempted to leave and contacted police, said Waterville police Sgt. Alan Main.

Officers suspected Barry was under the influence and she failed several field sobriety tests, the sergeant said.

Barry was uncooperative as police arrested her and charged her with operating under the influence, according to Main. She was taken to the Kennebec County Jail where she remained Friday morning.
