I am recommending Tom Bourret to fill the position of tax collector in the town of Rumford. He worked as my deputy tax collector since July of 2009. He has exhibited an indisputably high work ethic. He learns quickly and, most important, he is an honest young man.

He took over all tax collection duties, in full, when I left the position in late February and is doing a terrific job. He has “walked the walk” and proven he can do the job.

I could not think of a better deputy three years ago, and I cannot think of a better person for the tax collector position today.

The office will be in good hands for some time to come if Tom Bourret is elected.
