Of the six qualified senatorial Republican candidates, only one, Bruce Poliquin, has displayed the tenacity and knowledge of how to deal with out-of-control government spending.
As a fellow commissioner of the Maine State Housing Authority, I saw first-hand how Poliquin addressed the high cost of low-income housing and how he shined the light of day on how the progressive Democrats are using our tax dollars to promote their social agenda.
Gov. Paul LePage and Poliquin have not kicked the fiscal problems “down the road,” rather, they addressed those issues and dealt with them legislatively.
I would look forward to Poliquin doing the same in the U.S. Senate, and I would suggest that Sens. Harry Reid and Charles Schumer will have met their match.
A vote for Bruce Poliquin for Senate is a vote for fiscal sanity.
