Christopher Poulin, left, a Lewiston High School graduate, strums a tune with master guitarist Denny Breau on Wednesday at Lewiston’s Franco-American Heritage Center. Poulin received the first $250 Lenny Breau Memorial Scholarship Award given by the Breau family. Denny’s brother Lenny was once described by legendary guitarist Chet Atkins as “the greatest guitarist who ever lived.” Poulin, who is a chorus singer, plays guitar and hopes to build guitars someday, Breau said. He added that the scholarship would go to an Edward Little High School graduate next year.
