LISBON/AUBURN — Earl Taylor, Jr., from Mesa, Ariz., president of the National Center for Constitutional Studies, will be coming to the area on Wednesday, June 13 and 14, to present “An Evening with the Constitution.”

Programs will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at East Auburn Baptist Church, 560 Park Ave., Auburn, and from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Open Door Bible Church, 26 Gartley St. Lisbon.

Preregister online at NCCS.net for $6, or $10 at door.

The purpose of the NCCS is to teach Americans the exciting message of the Founding Fathers – where they got their great ideas and how they put them all together into a Constitution for the establishment of the first free people in modern times.

The three-hour program will discuss how the Founders discovered, over a period of 180 years, the Principles of Liberty which preserve the rights and privileges of all mankind; how to think like the Founders and learn why the Constitution is the balanced center of the true political spectrum.; how the Principles of Liberty are woven into the Constitution like a delicate fabric; the limits of power placed upon the legislative, executive and judicial branches and how the Constitution was designed to protect the sovereign states.

Taylor has taught The Making of America Constitutional Study course to thousands of people over the past 20 years throughout the nation. He has developed other study courses for a wide range of participants, from high school students to state legislators.
