Congratulations to Peggy Rotundo. I was happy to see in the Sun Journal (July 14) she was awarded the Sam Shapiro Award that recognized her “loyalty, dedication and ebullience that lifts up people,” along with her “character and sense of humor.”
You can add hard-working, intelligent and resolute to her list of attributes.
Rep. Rotundo is respected and recognized on both sides of the aisle as a consensus builder and advocate for the people, especially those who are most in need.
Despite her tireless efforts, she remains totally accessible to the public. She is truly a hard-working public servant and asset to the community. It is wonderful to see her recognized. We certainly need to keep her in Augusta.
