An Associated Press article in the July 24 Sun Journal informed us that the U.S. (taxpayers) is donating an extra $150 million to “help poor countries” control AIDS.

Hillary Clinton says that the U.S. has already invested more than $150 billion toward that goal. (Was that money borrowed from Communist China?)

Was it Ben Franklin who said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure?”

The AP article reported a lot about the use of expensive drugs. It said nothing about the need for changing behavior.

Everyone ought to know that AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease, like syphilis and gonorrhea. It is transmitted primarily through sexual contact, often through casual, immoral sexual behavior.

What is desperately needed is a return to biblical Christian morality.
