AUBURN — Kenneth G. Richards, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Aug. 5, with his family by his side, at the Hospice House.

He was born in Lewiston, on June 27, 1951, the son of the late Leo A. Richards and Edith Goss Richards. Kenney graduated from Edward Little High School in 1969 and joined the Army, serving two years; stationed in Alaska for a while.

He was employed at W.D. Matthews for 33 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, but his greatest passion was for his 1965 red Chevy Nova that he dragged at OPS.

Kenny is survived by his longtime companion and fiancee, Susie Bolduc; her children, Wendy and Timmy; sister, Carolyn Ritchie; niece, Vicki Ouellette and children, Brock, Tayla and Hunter; nephews, Marc Ritchie and Vada, Jamie Ritchie, Branden and Austen; uncle, Franklin Goss and wife, Mary; cousins, Tim, Sherri and Jeff; his cat, “Flamy,” whom he had such a strong passion for; as well as many close friends, Paul, David and Roland.
