LEWISTON — Kendra Elie of Leeds has been awarded the 2012 Dominic J. Roux Scholarship from Central Maine Credit Union. A 2012 graduate of Leavitt High School, Kendra will be entering Colby College in Waterville.
Central Maine Credit Union values its members and encourages the pursuit of higher education. Every year, the credit union presents the Dominic Roux Scholarship Award, named after the first CEO, to one of its members. Central Maine Credit Union members currently enrolled in or pursuing higher education may apply for the scholarship that may be used toward college expenses.
