SCARBOROUGH — Ella (Levesque) Myrick, 95, died Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Maine Veterans’ Home.

Ella was born in Lewiston, July 6, 1917, the daughter of Conrad and Fabiola (Legendre) Levesque. She was a lifelong resident of Auburn and a graduate of Edward Little High School in 1935. Ella married Harry (Hank) Myrick in 1936.

She worked at the Crest Shoe Co. during her early years and later retired from Casco Bank and Trust. She served as a den mother, a band parent and also volunteered at the YWCA during World War II. She was an avid Bridge player, loved clothes, shoes and the beach. Most of all, she enjoyed family and friends and always brought life to each gathering.

She is survived by her sister, Doris Mynahan (Maury); daughter, Tonia Simard (Roger) of Poland Spring; son, Michael Myrick of Scarborough; Karen Eames of Saco and Michael Grenier, of Scarborough; grandchildren and spouses, Andreiona (Gregory) Simard, Kellie Simard Patti (Kurt), Kevin Simard (Michelle Hukill), Kurt Simard (Lauren Crothers), Karen Simard Morse (Matthew), Laurie Campbell, Addie Myrick Lucas (Robert), Meghan Myrick; 12 great-grandchildren, Danielle and Hannah Simard, Megan and Nicholas Patti, Sidney Simard, Madeline, Cameron and Sophie Simard, Ella and Boden Morse and Quincy and Jackson Lucas.

Ella was predeceased by her husband, Harry (Hank) Myrick; son, Sidney Myrick; sisters, Irene Tourigney and Rita Levesque; brothers, Gerald Levesque and Roland Levesque; and grandson, Kenneth Simard.
