PORTLAND — Mary Rose Emma Larson of Gray died on Sept. 4.

She was born in Biddeford, Dec. 1, 1914, the daughter of George and Flora Le Clerc Thibault. She grew up in Portland and attended St. Josephia’s School and Deering High School. On June 24, 1939, she married Erick F. Larson at St. Patrick’s Church. They lived in South Portland until 1954, moving to Gray.

She was a homemaker until her sons were grown, then went to work at Sebago Moc Co. in Westbrook, until she retired at age 63. Her beloved husband died in 1981. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory’s Church in Gray. She was also a foster mother while her children were young.

Survivors include two sons, Erick E. Larson and Roland A. Larson; two granddaughters, Ericka Larson Cotsis of Saco and Sara Larson of Gray; a sister, Pauline Sivovlos of Portland; a great-grandson, Ellis; three great-granddaughters, Evy, Mia and Lyla Cotsis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Roland Thibault; and a sister, Beatrice Thibault.
