MEXICO — The wedding of Sheena M. Hanmer and Justin S. Holmquist was held on June 16. Jim Hanmer, father of the bride, officiated at the ceremony. Andy Fuller was the violinist during the ceremony.

Mrs. Holmquist is the daughter of Jim and Cyndi Hanmer of Dixfield. Mr. Holmquist is the son of Ernie Holmquist of Peru and the late Deborah Holmquist.

The bride wore a satin ivory one shoulder sleeveless gown in A-line style and carried a bouquet of sunflowers, white and yellow roses, delphinium and ostrum.

Matron of honor was Shira Waite of Canton, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kari Buck of Glastonbury, Conn., Dana Burns of Dixfield, Erin Haskell of Cape Elizabeth and Amanda Law of Saco. Lana Olivia Waite of Canton was flower girl.

Attendants for the bridegroom were Nick Turnbull of Peru, B.J. Bassett of Carthage, Dale Dolloff of Peru, Andy Knox of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mike Waite of Canton. Caleb Joseph Hanmer of South Portland was the ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Dirigo High School and the University of New England in Biddeford. She is an occupational therapist at Rumford Hospital.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Dirigo High School in Dixfield and is employed at Bancroft Construction in South Paris.

The couple is residing in Mexico.
