HARRISON — Peggy Anne Gill and Dylan Crowe, both of Salem, Mass., were united in marriage on Aug. 25 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the beach by Island Pond at Fernwood Cove. Steven White uncle of the bridegroom, officiated the ceremony.

James Gill, uncle of the bride, and Kathleen Shanahan, cousin of the bride, served as readers. Guests stayed overnight in the cabins.

The bride is the daughter of Malcolm and Maureen Gill of Dixfield. The bridegroom is the son of James and Elizabeth Crowe of Marblehead, Mass.

The bride wore a white organza gown with sweetheart bodice with pickup skirt style, with a ring of flowers in her  hair. She carried a bouquet of daisies.

The matron of honor was Mary Gill Herrick of Madison. Bridesmaids were Joan Gill of Shapleigh, Cheri Gill of Lebanon, Chelsea White of Marblehead, Elloree Jennings of Waterville Valley, N.H., Sierra Surette of Lowell, Mass., Michelle Kennedy of Salem, Mass., and Jennifer Christensen of Marblehead. The flower girl was Lydia Eileen Herrick, niece of the bride of Madison. The ring bearer was Gus Crowe (dog) of Salem.

The best man was Simon Crowe, brother of the bridegroom, of Marblehead. Ushers were Micheal Gill of Shapleigh, Tim Gill of Lebanon, Josh Cantrell of Sante Fe, N.M., Matthew Jennings of Waterville Valley, Christopher Mohn of South Woodstock, Vt., Alexander Brown of Salem and Joseph Christensen of Marblehead.

The bride graduated from Dirigo High School in 2002 and attended Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts. She is employed as a nanny in Marblehead.

The bridegroom graduated from Marblehead High School in 2002 and attended Western State College of Colorado. He is employed as manager of Fastenal store in Gloucester, Mass.
