LEWISTON — Two events have been planned to benefit Noah Blakey and his family.

A Breakfast For Noah will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at The Green Ladle, Lewiston High School. The cost is $10 a person.

Additionally, The Green Ladle is raffling off three artfully prepared Thanksgiving dinners for up to 20 guests. A $5 ticket gives three chances to win.

The meals will be prepared for pick-up on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at The Green Ladle and will include turkey with gravy, potatoes, cornbread stuffing, vegetables, fresh baked breads, homemade cranberry sauce, cole slaw and apple, pumpkin and chocolate cream pies.

Tickets will be on sale at the benefit breakfast, at The Green Ladle or from any of The Green Ladle students.

Noah is the grandson of Chef Dan Caron. Noah and his family are going through a difficult time as he was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing at least six months of chemotherapy and then surgery.
