MEXICO — Several underage drinking incidents have occurred in the past week, mostly in the Dix and Holman avenues area, Lt. Roy Hodsdon said.

We’re taking zero tolerance because of the underage drinking,” Hodsdon said. Arrests have been made and summonses issued, with more expected, he said.

A vandalism incident reported at 3:09 p.m. on Oct. 8 involved two intoxicated 13-year-old boys and a 12-year-old girl who appeared not to be drinking, Hodsdon said. All were from Rumford or Mexico.

The vandalism involved a trailer on Holman Avenue being spray-painted. Michelle Nickerson, 19, of Holman Avenue, was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors. The three juveniles were released to the custody of their parents. The two boys and Nickerson are scheduled to appear in 11th District Court on Dec. 4.

Also on Oct. 8 at 1:49 a.m., a neighbor reported noise at a Holman Avenue apartment building. When police arrived, they discovered an intoxicated 15-year-old Rumford girl. She was issued a summons on a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor.

Among the other 39 calls to police in the past week were:
