AUBURN — Noella L. Robert, 72, of Cotton Road, Lewiston, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, after a three year battle with cancer, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
She was born in Lewiston, on Dec. 25, 1939, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Yvonne (Levesque) Raymond. She was educated in local schools. Noella married the love of her life, Jean Paul M. Robert, at Holy Family Church, on Oct. 15, 1959. She worked for Knapp Shoe and later retired from Geiger Bros.
Noella leaves her husband of 53 years, Jean Paul (Mike) Robert of Lewiston; a daughter, Maryann Pennell, a son, Daniel T. Robert, both of Pinellas Park Fla.; five sisters, Irene Delorme and husband, Rosaire of Lewiston, Doris Fisher of Sabattus, Rita Dorrington and husband, Alan of Auburn, Patricia Putnam and husband, Roger of Gardiner and Pauline Severino and husband, Daniel of Pennsylvannia; a brother, Roger Raymond of Lewiston; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
